Our Upcoming Android Release: Nezumi App Manager for Heroku

by alex.

DashboardStarting on April 30th, developers can monitor, manage, and update Heroku-hosted apps from any mobile Android device using CyberStride’s Android version of the popular iPhone Nezumi apps manager. If you haven’t used the Heroku cloud application platform before, it’s a developer-friendly virtual server environment that facilitates easy deployment, updates, and more.

Nezumi allows for real-time monitoring of nearly all aspects of a Heroku-hosted app’s performance from Android mobile platforms, as well as the capability to scale a deployed app up or down on demand. The ability to track multiple real time logs aids developers in pinpointing process crash causes, as well as with making choices between rebooting, debugging, or scaling an application while away from a workstation. Nezumi also enables on-the-fly changes with a Run feature for entering run commands into an active app.

Console The current version also offers a shortcut to Rails or Node consoles. Future Nezumi releases will offer console support for additional stacks and languages.

Until we reach feature parity with the iPhone version , we are offering Nezumi on the Android at $4.99.
